Job Overview
We are looking for a successful marketing associate to join our marketing team. This person will leverage knowledge of customer acquisition, retention, brand marketing, and data analysis throughout the design and management of best-in-class marketing campaigns. He/She will work closely with marketing, creative, merchandising and customer experience orgs, and must feel comfortable driving initiatives through all of them.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Senior Managers of Acquisition and Retention to develop and execute best in class acquisition and retention marketing strategies to drive growth
  • Execute overall email strategy:
  • Partner with Marketing team to develop objective and implement all email campaigns
  • Monitor email and subscriber growth performance
  • Execute segmentation strategy
  • Develop a loyalty program designed to increase conversion and LTV while decreasing cost of acquisition
  • Act as a strategic marketing partner for brands and a key marketing resource for merchants
  • Execute the day-to-day advertising operations e.g. project scheduling, creative production, deployment, ad optimization and analysis of all digital customer acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Actively manage and drive creative/development pipeline with support from creative team
  • Test, monitor and analyze campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future experiments
  • Maintain weekly performance dashboard and analyze against KPI metrics on an ongoing basis, continuously assessing results and optimizing as needed to drive growth
  • Collaborate with brand marketing to develop strategies that are aligned against overall brand goals and strategies
  • Partner with Senior Manager to develop and execute CRM strategy
  • Develop and manage relevant marketing budget
  • Lead adhoc projects and initiatives that bring about change or improve the business

Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years digital marketing experience, specifically focused on retention and/or acquisition marketing
  • Beauty industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • The ideal candidate will be motivated, creative, results-orientated, and possess the ability to communicate complex ideas in ways that are simple to understand
  • High energy and flexible in a constantly evolving entrepreneurial team environment
  • Excels in fast-paced, high-volume and deadline-driven environment
  • Proven strategic, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills with impeccable attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • High degree of initiative to drive projects to completion
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work extremely well across functions, successfully bringing people together toward common goals and to consensus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, people, and initiatives in parallel
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Go-getter: sense of urgency: Exceptional project management experience and ability to work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to build relationships, and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
