Job Summary
Alta’s newest luxury lodge is a Night Auditor. Join the Snowpine team and enjoy working at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, the home to over 500 inches of snow annually. We are looking for hardworking folks who can navigate a variety of computer programs, crunch numbers, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.
This position requires self-motivated individuals who are able to work independently with little assistance in performing basic front desk tasks such as checking guests in and out, reconciling accounts, communicating with housekeeping, and responding to guest needs.

This position is part-time in the summer months and will expand to full-time in the winter.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome hotel guests between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Register and process guests at check-in and check-out
- Audit and balance reports from the day shift, run all EOD computer functions
- Verify that all EOD work has been completed by other departments
- Post guest and room charges, record receipts and maintain guest folios
- Prepare guest bills for next day departures
- Arrange wake-up calls and other guest services as needed
- Accommodate guest requests
- Perform nightly inspections of the lodge property
- Assist in resolving any guest conflicts, call Resident Manager as needed
- Stay up-to-date on weather conditions
- During the winter months, assist with executing interlodge protocol
- As a member of the Front Desk staff, the Night Auditor is expected to perform a variety of tasks, such as: answering lodge phone, maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, promoting hotel services, programming guest key cards, and more
- Communicating any incidents or pertinent information with the morning manager is key
- Perform all tasks in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner
- All employees are expected to meet The Snowpine Lodge personal appearance and uniform standards

Experience
- 1+ years hotel night auditing experience preferred
- Experience working with a Property Management System preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
