Purchasing Manger

Our current client, an award winning architecture firm based in Seattle, WA, is seeking qualified architects. As an International firm they are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator

Must Haves –
  • 6+ years of post-bachelor’s degree experience as a purchasing coordinator at a Interior design firm
  • Experience in FF&E purchasing for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
  • Must have managed people within purchasing, very well versed with managing budgets and schedules, while working with vendors to ensure projects get materials in time and on budget
  • Ability to coordinate accounts payable and receivable – including negotiating with venders, maintaining and tracking costs and budget of purchased goods, scheduling and monitoring shipping and receipt of deliveries and goods.
  • Excellent MS excel skills as report making is essential part of the job– especially financial, client account, and condition reports
  • Ability to review construction designs
  • Proficient in interiors purchasing software (Studio Designer), QuickBooks, MS Office Suite, Outlook

Nice to Have
  • Worked with leading furniture companies such as Minoti, B&B Italia, any custom furnishings, Italian furniture
