THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Inside Account Manager (iAM) is responsible for building and expanding relationships with existing assigned key accounts and new accounts in the assigned geographic territory (outside Northeast), with an objective of increasing sales annually. The iAM role will be organized and efficient at time management, setting their own call schedule for creating demand through outbound calls and outreach activities.  Activities will consist of conducting cold phone calls as well as scheduled phone meetings with existing customers assigned to you. These planned calls are strategic in order to expand opportunities within existing customers.  These calls will require active listening, questioning skills, and persistence.  iAMs will have strong written and verbal communication skills to correspond with "A" account customers regarding any special inquiries, assistance with placing orders, processing quote and sample requests, confirming stock available for allocation, resolving complaints, providing backorder notifications and offering alternative solutions as needed, as well as answering questions regarding SKS’ products and services.
