Skift is seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Associate -- with a specific focus on event -- in London to join our Global Marketing team. You will be working in a fast-moving environment, while learning fundamental growth marketing skills for promoting our events around the world and other Skift products.
This position is based in our fast growing office in London.
Skift deciphers and defines trends for global CEOs and CMOs across travel, dining, and wellness sectors through a combination of news, research, conferences, and marketing services.
This position requires a lot of coordination and communication skills, especially working with head office and global marketing team in New York City.
Primary Duties May Include:
- Assist in end-to-end coordination of marketing campaigns across Skift products, specifically events, including planning, promotion, execution, and follow-up
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, creative, dev, sales and edit teams to execute campaigns
- Prospect and manage media partnerships/co-registration campaigns from start to finish: including development of contests, solidifying partners, creating T&C’s and executing marketing exchange
- Research and propose relevant social influencers, and brand advocates for potential co-promotional partnership opportunities
- Handle inbound ticket inquiries and general questions for forums and upsell/convert as well as manage live online chat during designated work hours
- Assist in content creation and scheduling of social posts across Skift Products: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Responsible for short copy writing and executing marketing inclusions in Skift newsletters across all brands
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Digital Marketing/Marketing experience
- Experience in event marketing and/or subscription marketing
- Experience with CRM and/or event management systems (preferably HubSpot, Aventri, Cvent)
- Experience with CMS systems (preferably Wordpress)
- Experience with Data Analytics software such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Quality verbal communication (small and large group settings) and written communication (web, email, content creation)
- Excellent attention to detail, well organized and self-motivated
- A knack for problem-solving
- Strong project management skills
- Balance of a professional attitude while having a lot of fun
