Account Manager

As an Account Manager at SixSpeed, you know how to own and navigate client relationships. Account Managers know more about the clients’ business than any other department and use this knowledge to develop and grow relationships that add value to the client and agency. We are looking for a responsible and collaborative team mate to work internally and create great work, sell in, and execute to ensure high client satisfaction and account growth. No schmoozers here – just solid business-oriented individuals who are likable and capable.

THE TASK AT HAND 
Client Management 
  • Build and maintain strong active relationships with junior to mid-level clients 
  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Assist with managing client budget and set price/willingness to pay
  • Manage client expectations/satisfaction and provide conflict resolutions
  • Responsible for understanding clients’ business and using this knowledge to manage project output/execution
  • Assist with defining goals and objectives of a project with clients 
 
Account Management 
  • Lead internal team collaboration to create great work, sold in, well executed
  • Manage annual account planning and financials for assigned accounts
  • Develop and presents quarterly business reviews to senior management
 
Process Management 
  • Lead project kick offs, account status, and debrief meetings with tea
  • Work with PM to oversee creative and production process – acting as the eye of the client
  • Manage client feedback and communication with internal team - routing information, gathering inputs for brief development and presentations

  • Selling and upselling ideas to clients to address their business needs
  • Leading strategic brand and marketing planning and execution
  • Being the voice and buffer between your clients and SixSpeed (and vice versa)
  • Managing SixSpeed’s business as it relates to your clients

WHO ARE YOU?
  • You have 2-5 years of Account Management experience in the marketing/advertising and agency realm
  • You tout a bachelor’s degree
  • You’re always thinking of the needs of others and looking to improve 
  • You’re obsessed with maintaining relationships 
  • You are passionate about building brands and finding new opportunities for them to grow 
  • You have a natural sense of urgency and work well under pressure
  • You’re empathetic and honest in nature and a fantastic communicator
  • You are comfortable working for gun and ammunition brands
