SUMMARY:

The Analytics Developer is an integral part of Digital Marketing at Simpleview and is responsible for executing all programming tasks associated with Digital Marketing work. This position acts as the department’s internal developer resource, which allows the Digital Marketing department to implement SEM enhancements, analytics technology, and report accurately on client websites. The Analytics Developer is responsible for integrating and building error-free tracking while maintaining on-time delivery of all technical tasks. Requirements include a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, T-SQL, and Javascript.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and configure analytics software and install error-free tracking on client web sites
  • Develop intimate knowledge of Simpleview clients website and CMS/CRM architecture
  • Deliver quality, standards-compliant code that adheres to Simpleview best practices
  • Work with DM team to complete client contracts and projects effectively
  • Ability/desire to pinpoint common, time consuming DM-related tasks to increase overall team efficiency
  • Implement enhancements to client websites per tickets & work orders
  • Provide technical expertise, as needed to SEO Specialists, Analysts, Paid Media team and other staff
  • Manage timelines in order to provide on-time delivery for all work
  • Update all tickets, project notes and statuses daily within the internal Simpleview CRM system
  • Handle all technical tickets related to Simpleview website launches and transitions
  • Test all completed work to ensure proper and error-free functionality
  • Maintain accurate time records
 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong programming background with solid skills in Javascript, SQL, MongoDB, HTML, and CSS 
  • Strong background in Google Analytics tracking and Google Tag Manager implementations a plus
  • Keeps up with the latest technologies and has a desire to become a digital analytics expert
  • Great communication skills and an ability to work in a cross-functional team environment 
  • Enjoy working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work in a team. Be a great friendly colleague that people want to work with
  • Must develop the ability to integrate new & pre-built applications into our existing CMS system
  • Maintain open communication with department management and DM team on all project tasks
