Over the past year, we grew our revenue by more than 220% and more than doubled our customer base. We are hiring a Head of Growth to lead our sales and marketing efforts. This position, which reports directly to the CEO, has tremendous upside for further career growth and equity in our expanding business.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development
- Leading the development and refinement of the organization’s enterprise sales strategy to focus on the right customers and the right deals
- Setting, measuring and surpassing enterprise SaaS KPIs to ensure alignment across the organization
- Building sales operations for outbound enterprise sales (e.g. SDR plans, prospecting strategy, early pipeline qualifications, etc.)
- Setting the creative strategy for sales materials to ensure a consistent visual appearance and verbal tone
- Identifying targets and forge strategic relationships with C-Level executives in organizations that are key platform players in the podcast/audio space.
- Marketing/PR
- Developing and executing a marketing and PR strategy that yields predictable, repeatable, and scalable sales results, which includes:
- PR and influencer programs that keep Simplecast top of mind in the podcasting industry
- Content marketing that recruits qualified leads and establishes Simplecast as an expert in the space
- Events and other gatherings that bring the Simplecast community together and expand its reach
- Select use of paid digital marketing to drive precise results
- Leading development of technical enterprise marketing sales collateral, with a focus on simplifying sometimes difficult-to-understand but robust technology
- Evolving our brand positioning to stay ahead of the pack in a quickly evolving market
About You:
- 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing/PR for a quickly growing B2B SaaS company
- An analytical thinker that is very comfortable with setting, testing, forecasting, and reporting growth numbers
- Early stage startup experience and experience hiring for sales and marketing roles
- A leader with demonstrated cross-functional collaboration capabilities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Flawless organization and follow up skills
- A clear desire to help lead a scrappy, hard-working team whose goal is to innovate the future of digital spoken word

- Media/entertainment/advertising industry experience, particularly in sales and marketing

Location, Travel, Comp & Benefits:
