This position will provide focused and dedicated operational and customer service support to 1 key account and a few other key accounts. This person will coordinate work and communication between the customer’s supply chain, carriers, and internal staff to provide control and management of required activities. Those activities include but are not limited to: coordinating work with carriers in-bound and out-bound to customer, enter receipt orders for in-bound shipments into ShipCalm systems, communicating both ways between ShipCalm operations and customer operations and customer support teams.
Major Goals & Responsibilities
Manage and enter receipt orders for inbound materials. This includes overseeing the part numbers used in the supply chain and through to the end customer.
Communicate among parties, and utilize ShipCalm Systems to identify inbound shipments.
Share, in the moment, the outbound information that is needed to inform customer and customer’s customer of shipments headed out from ShipCalm.
Solve Customer issues with a look to solve and promote corrective and preventive action for the future.
Communicate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of service for the customer.
Provide periodic updates to customers on the status of their projects, deliveries, activities.
General data entry around orders and status/tracking information into 3rd party portals.
Coordinate freight pick-ups and drop-offs.
