Job Description
We are looking to fill a staff augmentation role for a client in the financial technology industry. As a Senior React Front-End Engineer on the team, your primary focus will be to develop the user interface of an application while utilizing well-known React tools (Redux, Styled Components, etc.). You will coordinate with a team that includes other front-end and back-end developers, QA, designers, and a product owner. As part of a highly collaborative team, we encourage those in all/any roles to take pride in their work and suggest new features or improvements!
Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features using React.js
- Optimize front-end implementations for maximum web performance
- Ensure cross-browser support for all features
- Implement unit tests to ensure current and future quality
- Work with a large team to identify and streamline process improvements
Experience
- 2+ years of React.js development experience
- 5+ years of front-end development experience
- Strong proficiency in Javascript, CSS, and HTML
- Able to support cross-browser concerns
- Solid understanding of state management via Redux or other similar libraries
- Familiarity with web performance concepts
- React Native experience would be a plus, although not required
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
- Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
- Be open to both giving and receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
