Data Center Architect

We are currently searching for a CCIE in R&S, SP, or Datacenter(DC)

Responsibilities

  • Represent the department in cross-functional meetings with Engineering, Planning, Deployment, and Operations to ensure effective implementation and hand-over activities.
  • Assist in defining and executing a technology strategy/roadmap that will enable the company to evolve its service offerings and transform how it offers products and services to its customers.
  • Identify technical requirements, specifications and create evaluation criteria for procurement documents (eg. RFP, RFI).
  • Research best in class designs from vendors and study what other global service providers are implementing.
  • Analyze networking and software technologies from vendor offerings (through research, proof-of-concept and RFx).
  • Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
  • Collaborate with team members, cross functional groups, partner companies or other vendors to develop overall end-to-end solutions and architecture that meets and exceeds business expectations

Requirements
 
  • Strong knowledge with hands-on experience and designing practices in Service Provider or Mobile operators.
  • Experience on the following protocols are required: IPv4/IPv6, Multicast, IGP (OSPF/ISIS), MPLS, Seamless MPLS, LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing, MBGP/BGP, BGP AIGP, L2VPN (VPLS; EVPN), L3 VPN, VxLAN, InterAS options (A/B/C), QoS/HQoS, Fast Reroute technologies (rLFA/TI-LFA), high availability features (NSR/Graceful restart), security features appropriate to network infrastructures. 
  • Experience on multivendor environments and products from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei. 
  • Knowledge on 3G, LTE, VoLTE, IMS, 5G is a plus. 
  • Experience on virtualization technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Cloud Computing, Automation, DevOps with Linux, Vmware, Openstack, Python, Javascript, Netconf, Restconf, YANG technologies, and Open Source communities
  • Technical certification: CCIE/ JNCIE (Provide certification number)
