HR Administrator

Are you an enthusiastic and organised HR Administrator looking for an exciting and varied role within a dynamic, forward thinking and fast paced software company?

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience of doing a similar HR Administrator role in a private sector organisation. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective HR administration and support, playing a vital role within the Admin team. You will report to the Head of Admin.


For this position, a CIPD qualification is not necessary. We encourage you to apply if you are an experienced office Administrator, and your work relates to tracking of HR related matters, processing monthly payrolls and to maintaining employee files.


The HR Administrator will need to be a self-starter, with a positive can-do attitude and a professional manner. This will be a busy role and you will need to have the ability to juggle different priorities, while still producing excellent work under tight timeframes. You will also be able to work independently and as part of a team.


The core responsibilities will include:

  • Creating monthly spreadsheets for our payroll provider
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Creating HR documents and managing sickness absence and holiday recording
  • Ensuring HR files and systems are up to date
  • Recruitment administration including liaising with candidates, booking interviews, arranging recruitment events and creating job offer packs
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related enquiries
  • Assisting with the maintenance, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Superb attention to detail is very important – we are looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right first time. Excellent verbal and written English is a must. We also need someone who fully recognises the need for confidentiality. Also required are good IT software skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
