We are looking for Administrative Assistants with Sage/QuickBooks experience, who are only looking for casual and temporary employment. What kind of work would you be doing? You could be covering a maternity leave, providing holiday coverage, or providing support during a busy season. What kind of environment would you be working in? Any and all! There could be positions in the construction, legal, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, accounting, trucking, non-profit, or automotive industry! Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Answer, evaluate, and forward telephone calls to appropriate personnel
* Invoicing, statements, credits, & refunds
* Deposits & AR entry via Sage/QuickBooks
* Transcribing, formatting, inputting, and editing documents
* Ensuring customers receive accurate information and appropriate services promptly
* Ordering office supplies and initiating equipment maintenance when needed
* Recognizing and solving issues that arise
* Generating reports
* Exercising sound judgement when handling sensitive information
Required Qualifications:
* Post-secondary education; Accounting, Administrative, HR, Marketing, etc.
* Solid understanding of Sage/QuickBooks, MS Word, & MS Excel
* Has to be able to work independently
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Professional integrity
Compensation & Hours:
* The rate of pay is expected to be $18/hr. - $22/hr., depending on skill level
* Hours are flexible for temporary positions – they can range from a couple of hours to a couple of months
