Administrative Assistant! Expert in: Leasing & Insurance

    Our Rental Property client is looking for an Administrative Assistant with a background in leasing/insurance. Though this is an entry level position, the successful candidate will be expected to keep up with the quick pace of the business. Are you excited about this job?     Position Summary: 
    The successful candidate will be responsible for: 
     
    * Executing and distributing leases ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and filed accordingly
    * Developing and upholding an excellent line of communication among tenants, administration, and external contractors
    * Formatting, converting, and tracking of documents to ensure that time schedules or deadline requests are respected 
    * Organizing and maintaining filing systems, correspondence, and other transactional records
    * Liaise with property manager regarding terminated leases; setting up inspections, accounts transfers, etc. 
    * Cash management; taking payments & issuing receipts
     
    Required Qualifications: 
     
    * Experience with contracts, leasing agreements, and insurance processes
    * Conflict resolution; must have ability to talk people down 
    * Patience and resourcefulness when solving tenant complaints
    * 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative position
    * Can quickly learn and adapt to procedures, software, & methods
    * Reliable
    * Clean criminal record 
    * Accounting background an asset, but not a requirement

    Compensation & Hours: 
     
    * The rate of pay is expected to be $18/hr. - $20/hr. 
    * Monday – Friday
    * This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent
