Select’s client is looking for someone to temporarily assist with scheduling duties in their busy office. Their ideal candidate will be able to handle the pressure of scheduling clientele in with 13 different team members, all with varying rates, specialties, & certifications. Alongside learning which clients can be paired with which team members, the successful candidate must also be mindful of documentation requirements for insurance or government funding. Overall though, this organization is looking for someone who can mesh well with their easy-going and fun team.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Utilizing the in-house scheduling program
* Accurately conveying information about services to clients
* Precise and detailed record-keeping
* Providing a welcoming environment for clientele
* Upholding strict confidentiality
* Responding independently to challenges or changes while maintaining discretion and professionalism
* Deescalating situations if need be
Required Qualifications:
* Ability to figure things out on the fly
* Capable of responding to distressed clients in a calm, courteous, and helpful but firm manner
* Strong verbal & written communication skills with exceptional listening skills
* Experience managing one or more calendars using MS Outlook or other scheduling software
* Proficient knowledge of office equipment (phones, fax machines, photocopier, computers)

* Background in social work
* Administrative Office Professional Certificate
Compensation & Hours:
* The rate of pay has yet to be determined
* This position will start on Tuesday, September 3rd
* 4 – 5 hours/day & 4 – 5 day/week (20 – 25 hours/week)
