Our client in the food manufacturing industry in Taber, AB, is looking for an individual to coordinate administrative activities. This integral role is responsible for the timekeeping and tracking of employees, incoming/outgoing shipments, and other visitors, as well as providing them with information regarding operations. The ideal candidate will be someone who is seeking a long-term, stable role as an Operations Support Specialist.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Coordinating administrative activities in a timely manner
* Organizing, adjusting, and communicating schedules to employees
* Reviewing, modifying, and entering information into computer programs (payroll information, overtime, schedules)
* Signing in visitors and providing appropriate information
Required Qualifications:
* Good customer service skills and phone etiquette
* Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Attention to Detail
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
* Independence
* Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in an office setting
* Must have own vehicle as this position is in Taber
Bonus Points For:

* Familiar with Kronos
* Prior experience in a manufacturing industry
Compensation & Hours:
* This is a fulltime, permanent position
* 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. - Must be able to work a compressed work week (12-hour shifts), including weekends
* The rate of pay will be $18.15/hr.
