SearchSpring and Nextopia are leading search providers in the ecommerce space offering a SaaS product to power Search, Merchandising, Analytics and Reporting. We power some of the best brands’ websites out there like Gerber, Moen, Volcom and many others.
The acquisition and our current growth has created a rare opportunity to own marketing for two growing companies and strategically bring them together. You will be tasked with working with Product and Sales to come up with the best path forward for our two brands and bring them under one roof. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to help drive us to the next level and oversee our amazing marketing team to be a true SaaS marketing machine.
SearchSpring is part of the Scaleworks family of companies. Scaleworks is a Venture Equity provider that acquires, invests in, advises and operates B2B SaaS companies. The Scaleworks family includes: SearchSpring, Qualaroo, Keen, Earth Class Mail, Filestack and Chargify.
You’ll know this role is for you if you can mentor and lead our solid marketing team on:
- Success in managing multiple marketing teams across different products, locations and market segments
- Brand Architecture
- Drive brand portfolio and migration strategy - Merge them together, brand or rebrand the products - these are all your decisions!
- Ensure brand cohesion
- Brand Positioning & Identity
- Help refine, evangelize brand positioning
- Ensure a consistent and effective brand message.
- Define the brand look & feel and tone & voice
- Demand & Lead Generation – support your two marketing teams on the overall process from awareness to conversion for both the assisted and unassisted channels
- Digital Marketing – support you teams on the optimization of the online properties (website, blog, social) to drive leads to assisted sales opportunities
- Product Marketing – addresses the core questions:
- What are we building?
- Who are we building it for?
- How do we talk about it?
- How do we go-to-market?
- Analyst relations - Develop a plan and incremental tactics to have SearchSpring recognized by industry analysts as a leader in eCommerce Search and Merchandising
- Alliances - Identify partnership opportunities that can increase brand awareness, product breadth and/or opportunities to generate qualified leads
- PR / Social - Work together with Corporate Communications to increase coverage of SearchSpring
- Ability to mentor the team and help grow both them and the company to support desired growth
- Developing and supporting Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy
- Experience B2B SaaS marketing preferred
