- 上記ソフトウェアを応用した研究・計算事例の作成
- ユーザーへの技術サポートとトレーニング
- 技術資料の作成や翻訳(和訳・英訳)
- 学会、展示会などにおける口頭/ポスターの発表
- 弊社で開催するセミナー/ワークショップ等における講師
- 受託解析・研究サービスの実行または補助


- 材料科学の分子シミュレーションに関連する分野について大学院修士課程修了あるいは
- 優れたコミュニケーション能力と問題解決能力があること
- 東京にある当社オフィスに通勤可能であること
- 言語:母国語レベルの高い日本語スキル
- 英語スキル:電子メール、報告書作成、ウェブ会議、テレカンファレンス


- 分子動力学シミュレーションの経験と知識がある方
- ポリマーを対象にした分子シミュレーションの経験がある方
- Pythonでスクリプトを作るのが好きな方
- 頻繁な国内出張が可能な方

Schrödinger Corporation, a Japanese subsidiary of Schrödinger in the United States, is looking for an Applications Scientist for our Materials Science team. This job consists of pre- and post-sales software support, including demonstrations and training for optimal use of our materials science softwares, facilitation of interactions between customers and product development teams, and providing general scientific guidance. We welcome those who work well in a team environment and strive to find the best solution for both our customers and colleagues. In addition, research content that has shown good results (and can be made public) can be submitted to scientific magazines.

What you’ll do:
  • Explain materials science software to customers in a pre-sales setting
  • Create research/calculation examples using said software
  • Train and offer technical support to software users
  • Prepare and translate technical materials between Japanese and English
  • Present at academic meetings, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
  • Lead seminars/workshops held at our offices
  • Execute or support contract analysis and research service

What you’ll need:
  • Advanced degree in molecular simulation of materials science, or a related field
  • Willingness to commute to our Tokyo office five days a week
  • Native Japanese language skills
  • Working English skills for emails, preparation of reports, web conferences, and teleconferences
