Nama Sushi Bar, led by Chef Young Oh and Ed Scarpone is looking for a responsible, skilled sushi line cook and junior sushi sous chef to work for our Japanese restaurant and rockstar chefs. The ideal candidate has:
- 1 year minimum experience behind a sushi bar
- strong knife skills
- fish butchering skills
- strong communication skills
- full weekend availability
- a desire to work in a team environment
- strong understanding of genuine hospitality
- a passion for food and beverage
- a good sense of humor
- the ability to multitask and help others when needed
- a pre-disposition to serve
Other responsibilities include:
-Operating in a clean workspace and producing top-quality food to support the culinary team
-Collaborating with the management team to effectively lead the culinary team
-Maintaining health department, food quality, and restaurant standards at all times
