IT Support Specialist

Scaleworks is looking for a full-time IT specialist to support our portfolio of software companies. The candidate will both solve current technical issues and help plan for future growth. This position reports to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities: 
  • Act as an initial point of contact for all IT issues
  • Manage IT equipment requests and update inventory management records
  • Arrange and facilitate hardware repairs and maintenance (photocopiers, printers, laptop, tablets, tv’s, etc.)
  • Support and optimize software systems and packages (Zoom, Robin, GSuite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ensure best practices in daily IT operations; educate and train Scaleworks employees accordingly
  • Documentation of IT processes where needed
  • Select and manage service and hardware vendors
  • Manage building access system and video surveillance portal/equipment
  • Liaise with foreign offices as needed 

Must haves: 
  • High school diploma; College degree preferred 
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Good listener who is able to summarize and prioritize issues
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills (spoken and written)
  • Technical troubleshooting experience with wireless networks
  • Apple and PC experience
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs
