Chargify is seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Operations to join our growing team. As leader of the RevOps organization, the Director of Revenue Operations is responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of revenue operations in the company. This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success departments, and ensuring that the interaction between those departments is aligned with the larger company-wide strategy dictated by the Chief Revenue Officer and senior leadership.

We’re looking for someone who is scrappy, resourceful and has a track record of finding new ways to help align GTM functions to maximize revenue growth. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue operations for the company, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Create strategies to drive all teams to work cohesively, optimizing each to maximize revenue
  • Work with the CRO and leadership team to optimize existing revenue models and create new revenue streams
  • Drive solutions with the systems & tools, business management, and sales enablement to optimize the company’s ability to generate more revenue and improve customer retention
  • Select and manage software tools to help each function achieve targets
  • You are the liaison between the CRO and all revenue generating functions 
  • Maintain a consistent set of metrics and analytics to inform / drive leadership team decisions 
  • Manage a small team of FTE / Contractors to accomplish goals
  • Identify requirements within Chargify systems and facilitate audits and change management required to streamline revenue operations
  • Obtain working knowledge of the Chargify application and backend systems in order to fully understand as-is processes both for merchants and Chargify users alike
  • Establish strong partnerships with cross functional teams

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Held previous senior level sales, marketing, operations, or revenue operations experience
  • Experience implementing effective RevOps strategies
  • Proven ability to align multiple departments towards company wide goals
  • Clear communication of RevOps strategy across the company
  • Alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Operations as part of the RevOps framework
  • Revenue focused incentives and organizational strategies
  • Ability to define, articulate, and measure key GTM metrics across Sales, Marketing, and CS
  • Experience in a recurring revenue or SaaS business model
  • Strong communication skills, strong project management skills, hi say:do ratio are necessary
  • Hands on experience with CRM, Marketing Automation, and Customer Success SaaS tools, such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Groove

Definition of Success:

External: 
  • Increase in revenue through enhanced lead generation, nurturing, improved sales processes and install-based programs
  • Reduction in churn through improved customer success program
Internal: 
  • Increase in team intelligence and understanding of goals, KPIs, and trends through effective and consistent reporting
  • Improved team efficiency through streamlined processes and tools
