Scaleworks is looking for an ambitious human resource / payroll administrator to manage all efforts related to payroll, benefits administration, audits, and HRIS system management. As part of the shared service team, the candidate will have an integral part in supporting the business and providing best in class service to our employees and business partners.
Responsibilities for This Role:
- Manage all payroll and benefits functions
- Manage and maintain all employee changes by processing all required paperwork and ensuring employee records are updated both within the HRIS and file system
- Perform all ad hoc reporting requests for internal clients, portfolio companies and vendors
- Manage all payroll and data audits, including annual 401k audit
- Act as in-house expert on all HRIS system and functions and manage implementation of any future systems
- Participate in large HR and Finance projects throughout the year

Requirements:
- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience with payroll and HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
- Must have experience managing payroll across multiple states
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Ability to show discretion and poise in all situations; able to treat sensitive/confidential information appropriately
- Must be able to function professionally under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
- Occasional after-hours work is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications & Google Suite
