Pre-Sales Associate

Sattva has offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Paris. 
  
Primary Role and Responsibilities
The Pre-Sales Associate will work at the intersection of the Sales and Delivery teams to research prospects, scope out client needs, develop impactful solutions to maximize shared value for the community and client in collaboration with the Delivery team and develop well researched proposals to lay the ground work for the success of the Sales Team. 

The Pre-Sales Associate will be responsible for: 
  • Research – conducting market landscape analyses, in-depth sector-based research and analyzing emerging trends in the sector 
  • Analysis and presentation of synthesized outputs based on both primary and secondary research 
  • Assisting the Sales Team with development of well-researched, articulated and presented pitch decks for prospective corporate clients 
  • Engage in conversations with corporate clients to scope out key needs, requirements and expectations and define a detailed scope of work for the engagement 
  • Work across functions with the Sales and Delivery Teams to design solutions and approaches to address key needs and requirements of the client with a focus on maximizing impact on the ground 
  • Transforming insights, approaches and solutions provided by teams into detailed and cogent proposals 
  • Ensuring quality and timely delivery of proposals and pitch decks 
  • Working with Sales Team and Delivery Teams on business strategies and assisting the teams with achievement of Sattva’s business goals 
  • Support Delivery with translating proposed solutions on the ground (~ 30% of time will be spent on project execution) 
  • Tracking key metrics and updating performance dashboards 
  • Participating in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute towards better functioning of the Pre-Sales division 
  • Building and developing knowledge internally at the team and organizational level

In addition, the Pre-Sales Associate should have: 
  • Bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated interest in the social impact sector or Masters in Development Studies/Social Work/Social Entrepreneurship 
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a role involving research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, sales/fundraising/pre-sales or consulting (preferably in the social impact sector) 
  • Excellent research and analysis skills 
  • Strong ability to articulate complex ideas and thoughts and engage with a diverse set of stakeholders 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – especially Powerpoint and Word is a must. 
  • Strong problem-solving, execution and analytical skills 
  • Detail-oriented and organized 
  • Self-driven personality with the ability to work independently
