What we need
We are seeking experienced dynamic professionals/strategic thinkers passionate about social impact and who have worked in the corporate and social sector. The individual will be responsible for ensuring customer (s) success and managing the overall delivery of the project.

Primary Role
The Engagement Manager will be an integral part of our Transformation Advisory vertical, building positive relationships with clients, working closely with the team in designing and building solutions to enable high social impact on the ground.

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

Client Engagement
  • Lead client engagements through relationship building, active listening and providing strategic inputs which align with their vision of high impact on the ground and the ecosystem.
  • Co-create solutions to meet client’s current and future needs and work closely with key stakeholders
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, analysis and presentation of synthesized outputs and recommendations based on in-depth understanding of client’s work, developmental needs of the program beneficiaries
  • Influencing decision making and action to enable positive and sustainable impact

Delivery Excellence
  • Lead the projects with the teams, taking accountability of delivery goals and achieving the impact outcomes.
  • Lead the day to day delivery of the projects, gathering and analyzing the information, preparing recommendations for the clients
  • Planning the projects to maximise the social impact outcomes and ensure that the projects meet their profitability objectives
  • Effectively allocate the team members to projects, guiding and developing them to achieve their goals

Strengthen Sattva’s Transformation Advisory Function  
  • Participate in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute towards effective and efficient functioning of the function. 
  • Keep abreast of new and current trends within the social impact space, approaches to enable scalable impact 
  • Work closely with the business development team to develop high-quality proposals to generate new business

Building expertise and thought leadership
  • Build specialization in specific vertical and horizontal focus areas that strengthen Sattva’s capabilities to deliver value to our clients
  • Building, structuring and developing knowledge to share internally within the organisation and at the ecosystem level

What we are looking for
At Sattva, our goal is realizing the impact on the ground and to drive a collective win by engaging with multiple stakeholders. 

We are looking for passionate individuals who align with our vision and have the following profile: 

  • 8- 10 years of professional experience in business strategy, consulting, advisory and project management. 
  • Deeply passionate and committed to creating lasting social impact.  Prior experience in social impact space on the ground is highly preferred. Probono consulting or volunteering with social impact organisations will also be preferred. 
  • Demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills. 
  • Prior experience in the consulting industry at a mid- / senior- management role and in a multi-stakeholder environment. 
  • Experience of working and leading in a team environment 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively 
  • Strong client engagement skills - should have experience of working with top leadership and leading engagements. 
  • Humility, willingness to listen and learn.
