Our founders previously built RelateIQ (sold to Salesforce in 2014). People come first in every aspect of what we do, both internally and externally. We are looking for smart and driven individuals who want to work together to help build a company from the ground-up. We are located on California Ave. in Palo Alto, just across from Caltrain.

Position Summary

We’re seeking a high-performing product marketer to join us as we pioneer the CX universe. This team member will help us create a distinct brand and position for Ruist in the marketplace, and will be a foundational member of our go to market team. As to be expected in a start-up moving as fast as we are, the scope of this position will evolve continuously. Comfort with ambiguity is required.

That said, we do have a clear idea of the key capabilities this team member will help us cultivate over the next 12-18 months:

Product Marketing
  • Drive customer, market, and pricing research to feed into product development and ensure the right product gets brought to market
  • Work with Sales and Product to discover industry trends or “plays” (along with the right storytelling/narratives) that make companies want to engage with us
  • Develop go-to-market materials—including naming, packaging, pricing, and positioning—for a variety of channels and sales-led motions. Materials may include websites, videos, whitepapers, case studies, decks, and any other customer-facing information that accelerates deals and decisions
  • Engage industry analysts and press to establish and own the category

Brand
  • Help us create a distinct brand and voice for Ruist in the market
  • Work with the entire company to define, refine, and amplify a unique brand presence and feel amongst the competitive and peripheral landscape
  • Position Ruist as the market leader in the category we’ll create through creative campaigns
  • Create materials that resonate with a spectrum of decision makers, laying the groundwork for our go-to-market motion
  • Establish a consistent voice and style across all marketing materials, media, and channels

A great candidate will have...
  • 5+ years of marketing experience supporting an enterprise sales team
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable and quantifiable goals in a previous role
  • Success within an early stage environment – strong contributor in building winning playbooks, teams and cultures
  • Ability to operate in fast iterative cycles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of success interacting with colleagues in cross-functional teams
