RStudio Customer Success – U.S. or Europe (location is flexible)

Position Summary:

You will be working by email, web conference and phone to inform and inspire existing customers about the latest RStudio capabilities. Our Customer Success Reps present and demonstrate products, like RStudio Server Pro and and RStudio Connect, and packages, like Shiny, rmarkdown, sparklyr, the tidyverse, and flexdashboards. You will be responsible for ongoing renewal of customer subscriptions as well as expansion purchases resulting from increased use of our products. Customer Success reps create product demand by demonstrating new capabilities and then fulfill that demand by working with the customer to specify and purchase the solution.

Candidates for this role must have significant experience in R and a passion for informing, demonstrating, consulting and teaching customers about the newest capabilities. You must also enjoy engaging users and helping R advocates build awareness of the power of the R toolchain.  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required. As part of the RStudio team, you will be exposed to the latest innovations and trained on the newest products and features. This role supports a career path in sales, marketing, solutions engineering, product management and other disciplines. Typical candidates have a strong technical background but have decided they want to pursue a career beyond that of a data science practitioner.
