(PB) Marketing Assistant / Executive

Responsibilities:

1.       Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities. To assist day to day operations within the Marketing Department.
2.       Help create and promote the overall brand identity of the company by developing a marketing strategy and action plans for new business in accordance with the overall company goals and vision and achieve the best ROI.
3.       Assist in the implementation of marketing plans, including promotional materials, advertising opportunities, client acquisition, press releases, printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts.
4.       Keeping abreast of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns by compiling and evaluating updated market research report as well as sales data to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
5.       Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
6.       Assists in securing access to major media channels and important sponsorships
7.       Attend to sales enquiries and follow up on sales confirmation.
8.       Assist all aspects of Clients account opening and account development strategy including generations of enquiries, price and contract negotiation and payment. Foster and manage positive customer relationships to increase sales volume. To assist our customers to overcome challenging operational issues.
9.       Assist to increase and diversify customer base and counterparties.
10.   Support and attend trade shows, industry events, consumer events, conferences, seminars and exhibitions through the management and coordination of exhibition stand as required.
11.   Adheres to and comply with company and QHSE policies and procedures.
12.   Provide research findings as requested by management.
13.   Maintain a level of professional knowledge of business options available to management

Required Education and Experience
  • Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a Related Field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, brand management, social media, web analytics (e.g. WebTrends) or similar field
  • Experience in website design and content development; experience in copywriting
  • Digital marketing/advertising expertise
  • Interest in or knowledge of marine market 
  • Basic understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
  • Experience crafting spreadsheets and other data collection/presentation methods
