Manage daily operations of the Crewing Department.
Be responsible for setting up crew policy and generating crew strategy.
Be responsible for sourcing and recruitment of all crew for the Company’s managed vessels including preparation of employment contracts.
Ensure that the crew are qualified i.e. meet the Company and legal requirements with regards to certification and experience prior to joining the vessel.
Plan and oversee crew schedule, crew rotation, sign on/off documentations, crew welfare.
Review crew payroll and ensure crew’s final accounts are properly verified and paid on signing off.
Prepare budget and plan the manning of vessels.
Monitor and identify crew training requirements.
Liaise with Masters, port authorities, crewing management vendors and ship agents.
Develop and evaluate vessels manning requirement.
Work closely with other departments to ensure the needs of clients are met with regards to crew requirements.
