(PB) Crewing Manager

Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage daily operations of the Crewing Department.
  • Be responsible for setting up crew policy and generating crew strategy.
  • Be responsible for sourcing and recruitment of all crew for the Company’s managed vessels including preparation of employment contracts.
  • Ensure that the crew are qualified i.e. meet the Company and legal requirements with regards to certification and experience prior to joining the vessel.
  • Plan and oversee crew schedule, crew rotation, sign on/off documentations, crew welfare.
  • Review crew payroll and ensure crew’s final accounts are properly verified and paid on signing off.
  • Prepare budget and plan the manning of vessels.
  • Monitor and identify crew training requirements.
  • Liaise with Masters, port authorities, crewing management vendors and ship agents.
  • Develop and evaluate vessels manning requirement.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the needs of clients are met with regards to crew requirements.
