JOB DESCRIPTION: Team Leader, Motion Media Design
Lead and support daily motion graphics and animation content for high-profile clients including responsibility for developing and executing motion graphics. Use Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch, Illustrator, Adobe Premier After Effects, Cinema 4D, Keynote, Lightroom, Procreate and Premiere to create innovative multimedia print and template- driven motion and static graphic content for clients' digital marketing, print and social media channels including designing vector-based assets in Illustrator. Knowledge in, rotoscoping, compositing, and UI design and CSS. Use software plug-ins including Saber, Trapcode Particular, Motion 2.0, Duik, Rubber Hose, Universe, Video Lancer Color Aberrations, Ease and Fizz, Element 3D, Optical Flares, Gif Gun. As well as understanding expressions in After Effects. Conceive, craft, and execute innovative ideas on time and on strategy from conception to completion using a variety of visual styles and approaches including Procreate and Photoshop programs to develop storyboards that integrate key photography and videography with well-designed illustrations and typography. Perform retouching and image manipulations and using a wide variety of aesthetics and styles. Create one sheets and templatized Keynote presentations. Create one dimensional assets in Photoshop, bring those assets into a 2D, 2.5D and 3D world and add movement to them through programs including After Effects, Element 3D and Cinema 4D. Utilize a wide range of hardware, including iPad Pros, Wacom Cintiqs, and Mac Pro computers across multimedia content and print production. Use Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere programs to build templates for the production and design team to optimize production workflows across clients, projects and teams. Handle elements of post-production, including timeline-based animations, particle effects, motion tracking, color correction and keying. Perform disciplined data and metadata management utilizing strong archiving skills across projects, applications and databases to optimize collaboration Develop best practice for rendering trending content/animation techniques per platform using knowledge of nuances of margin space, photography development, execution and curation. Collaborate with team to help develop campaign art direction and contribute ideas during content brainstorm sessions. Share information and expertise about motion graphic design and animation trends by hosting workshops and tutorials, sharing tips and techniques with team to improve process and continually survey and discuss social media, digital and cultural trends and happenings. Inspire and build with other creatives on the Team.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and 2 years’ experience in job offered or bachelor’s degree in Motion Media Design and 1year experience as Motion Media Design Intern or closely related occupation.
