Director of HR/Director of Talent

Accord Group is looking for an experienced, ambitious, and personable Director of HR/Talent to join our executive team. This person will drive our organization-wide tales recruiting, management and development initiatives through hiring, developing, and managing a team while working with current managers and executives to accomplish company goals.

Director of HR/Talent's main responsibilities include recruiting, scheduling employee training programs, successful on boarding, implementing regular performance evaluations, defining and energizing the Accord Culture, and designing succession planning policies. 

Ultimately, their goal will be to foster a healthy workplace culture that helps us achieve our business objectives (annual and longer-term goals and initiatives).

Director of HR/Talent Responsibilities
  • Organize and oversee recruiting for all positions within the company
  • Organize and oversee individual and team training programs (both outsourced and in-house)
  • Plan regular employee performance evaluations
  • Conduct skills gap analyses
  • Monitor and report on churn rates
  • Develop employee retention programs and team-building activities
  • Craft policies that support internal promotions
  • Build succession plans
  • Create organizational charts and define each position's responsibilities
  • Discuss career-patin options with high-potential employees and their team leaders
  • Perform benchmark research on compensation and benefits
  • Manage and improve on boarding process
  • Coach employees and act as their consultant regarding learning and development activities

Director of HR/Talent Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources or relevant field
    • Additional certification (e.g. CIPD or SPHR) is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Director of HR/Talent or similar role
    • Minimum 2 years
  • Familiarity with performance management and relevant software
  • Experience delivering employee training programs
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources tools (e.g. Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Spirit
