Lead Frontend Engineer

A requirement for every great system is an exceptional UI. This is what the customers interact with, after all. We are looking for our first full-time front-end engineer. You will be responsible for creating the first version of our UI and also building out our front-end team.You will contribute to the design and development of key customer-facing features and components. You'll also design and build front-end web experiences from the ground up. We're looking for someone who is passionate about quality and building well-crafted, delightful experiences.

You'd be a great fit, if you have:
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study
  • Relevant professional experience leading front-end development teams and projects
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Understanding user-centered design, progressive enhancement, accessibility, responsive design, and website performance
  • Experience in building infrastructure UI would be a plus
  • Experience translating designs and making them functional through neat code and execution
  • Interest in data driven software, data visualization, and human-computer interaction
  • Strong communication skills to be used across engineering, product, and other functional teams
