Acquisition Landman

Founded by E&P experts who have previously invested $600M into Wyoming-based oil and gas assets, “RWW” is a new strategic mineral and royalty acquisition company headquartered in Sheridan, Wyoming. RWW is seeking outgoing, performance-driven mineral buyers that enjoy achieving results with and through people. This job is focused on the acquisition of mineral and royalty interests where a sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated is the foundation for success. Ideal candidates possess sufficient experience working in sales or mineral/royalty/land acquisitions. Job Duties:

  • Drive toward results by enrolling the commitment and buy-in of others;
  • Regularly meet and pro-actively establish relationships with new groups and people;
  • Contact interest owners by phone, email, and in-person meetings, tracking all communications in company CRM software;
  • Negotiate for the acquisition of mineral and royalty interests and execute various contracts and transaction-related documents; 
  • Work with executive management and entire team to design and improve upon workflow efficiencies as the company grows; 
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Wyoming’s evolving title statues and provisions

Compensation (this is a performance-driven position): $30,000-$50,000 base salary plus uncapped performance incentives that can more than double base salary. Full benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K match and unlimited vacation.

Location: Position will be based out of Company’s new headquarters in Sheridan, WY. Will consider candidates based in Douglas, Gillette, or Wright.

Travel: May require frequent within Wyoming.
