Social Media Manager

RIESTER is seeking a social media manager who is passionate about social media and is able to transfer that passion into strategic client recommendations and actionable ideas. The manager is tasked with staying current on social media consumption habits among a wide spectrum of audiences and able to help author compelling social campaigns, craft content calendars and provide authentic on-brand community management and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic brand voice and strategic social initiatives across all client platforms
  • Lead content development (creative ideation, copy, on-site content capture)
  • Source influencers, and develop and oversee the implementation of social media and influencer content programs
  • Proactively collaborate with the social, creative, PR and data teams on all facets of the social strategy from execution to reporting
  • Develop and strengthen good relationships with key influencer contacts
  • Community engagement / management
  • Monitor, analyze, report and present on social media efforts
  • Stay abreast of developments in social media including platforms, tools, applications and research
  • Participate in new business proposals and presentations as needed
  • Works with junior staff to develop tactical skills; community management, digital reporting, etc.
  • Assist media team in paid social media customer acquisition campaigns for a diverse range of clients and verticals
  • Discuss the strategic and tactical usage differences in multiple Social Media platforms
  • Support email content and strategy
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years working in social media, digital communications, and/ or digital marketing
  • Demonstrated success in developing, managing, and executing social media campaigns on the agency and/or client side
  • Demonstrated success in managing social media engagement on brand feeds
  • Proficiency with best practices for a range of social media platforms and tools; including but not limited to Sprout Social, SocialBakers, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics and Canva
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with an ability to multitask
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, English, Marketing, or other related area 
  • Proficiency in MS and Apple office suites
