Ridgeline’s Office Manager is the perfect job for someone who loves to organize, coordinate, and maintain a pleasant and smooth running professional work environment. In this position, you will support the meeting, administrative, and office management needs of our new NYC Ridgeline office space.
With an eye toward creating a high-touch, positive experience for both employees and visitors, you’ll provide a warm and welcoming first impression to everyone who crosses through our office doors. You will also lead the way in finding creative approaches to keeping our daily operations running smoothly.
As one of Ridgeline's first 100 employees, you will help shape our culture, make a big impact on a small team, and learn what it takes to build a successful company. Our team aims to leave a legacy in an industry primed for change.
Key Expectations
- Manage logistics for team meetings (meeting rooms, hotels, meals, AV, travel)
- Support new-employee onboarding (offer letters, backpacks/swag, laptops/asset management, benefits enrollment)
- Manage local employee perks programs (gym memberships, local discounts)
- Create positive visitor experience (scheduling, meeting logistics, physical space, travel arrangements)
- Maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies
- Answer phones and process mail
- Run local errands as needed
- Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
- Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience as an office manager or executive assistant
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly professional approach and work style
- Familiarity with productivity applications and tools: predominantly Google Apps (GMail, Sheets, Docs, Slides), Zoom video conferencing, and Microsoft Office as needed
- Ability to focus on short-term deliverables while maintaining a big-picture perspective
