As Ridgeline’s first IT Engineering and Support Specialist, you will be the go-to person for all computer hardware, software, and communication needs. You own, support, and troubleshoot all of our internal tools, technologies, and IT service providers. And you will improve our user experience by working with stakeholders to define and build out solutions to secure, simplify, and empower our workforce.
This position requires a highly technical and competent problem solver for a range of systems and technologies, including OS X, G-Suite, Slack, Jira, Mobile Device Management, Identity and Access Management, Single Sign-On, video conferencing, and wireless systems. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, this position has the potential to grow into a lead/management role as the team scales to support rapid growth.
Key Expectations
- Deploy and manage corporate laptops and systems
- Support corporate network and wireless systems
- Monitor and maintain conference room AV hardware and services
- Own and maintain corporate user account creation, monitoring, and compliance
- Work with Security to implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and accounting services (SSO, MFA, Logging, etc.)
- Own IT vendor relationships and support vendor-supplied solutions to ensure adequate services are provided
- Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the way
- Contribute to a collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of technical experience working in system administration or IT operations
- Experience with the deployment and administration of OS X
- Familiarity with endpoint security solutions
- Hands-on experience with G-Suite User and Application management
- Experience in corporate infrastructure solutions
- Automation through scripting, programming, and vendor solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills in IT infrastructure and applications
- Possess the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- An aptitude for problem-solving
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Serious interest in having fun at work
