Location: Greater Denver Area (not remote) 
Type: W-2 Full-Time

The Director of National Accounts will lead the sales growth of the company’s products and services within a defined area.  They will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel as well as identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings. 

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sr. VP of Sales in establishing and recommending the sales goals, plans/programs and strategies for the company.  
  • Manage an assigned sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives and goals. 
  • Establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train Rep Groups. 
  • Perform sales and promotional planning on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sr. VP of Sales. 
  • Collaborate with Sr. VP of Sales to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines. 
  • Manage Rep Groups for assigned national accounts and develops sales and sales support staff.  
  • Designing and recommending sales and marketing programs and setting long and short term sales strategies. 
  • Evaluate current Rep Groups and recommending additions and/or eliminations.  
  • Develop and increase profitable sales revenue to meet assigned targets/goals. 
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that affect current and future growth of the company's sales and profitability.  
  • Disseminate information to Rep Groups, the marketing department and the Sr. VP of Sales. 
  • Along with the sales team, attend, help manage and develop promotional opportunities for Trade Shows.
  • Collaborate with Sr. VP of Sales to establish and control budgets for sales goals, activities/promotions, trade shows and travel/entertainment. 
  • Special projects as assigned. 
  • Manage accounts including Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's and Menards 

Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in an executive level sales role
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience 
  • Highly efficient technical skills
  • Driven, competitive and passionate 
  • Industry knowledge
