JOB DESCRIPTION: Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Rhone is the fastest-growing men’s activewear brand in the US. We are looking for an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for our customer communications. You will be the subject matter expert on email, SMS, push notifications, Facebook Messanger, direct mail, and lead gen to define the role it can play within our digital consumer experience. You will also manage the day-to-day implementation to support our business objectives. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will define, build and manage marketing messages that speak to our various targets, and cultivate relationships with the consumer database and generate revenue.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and execute email strategy, including goals, and success metrics to support business objectives and drive engagement with consumers via email platform.
- Manage the end-to-end segmentation, automation of emails campaigns, from initiating new emails to building, testing, deployment, and reporting for all email streams including marketing campaigns, lifecycle campaigns, re-engagement, drip, and transactional emails.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Digital Teams to define audiences and communication plans around key market segments.
- Develop and be accountable for KPIs for measuring ongoing success and constantly evolve email program based on results.
- Manage the complete email process for the briefing, development, review, and launch of all email requests.
- Identify and recommend email industry best practices and trends
- Coordinate master email communications calendar across the product portfolio
- Develop strategies for all aspects of email marketing – lead acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty, etc.
- Build, test and deploy email campaigns, verifying copy, layout, links, and dynamic content as well as assessing and addressing any spam risks
- Identify and integrate new email capabilities to help drive personalization, desktop vs. mobile adaptations, and content optimizations
- Execute campaigns (manual or automated) on a daily/weekly/monthly/as-needed basis and generate output files to be delivered through various marketing channels (e.g. Email, Push, In-App Messaging, SMS, and Direct Mail)
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and delivery testing to ensure the accuracy of email deployments, as well as monitor the campaign post-deployment to validate completion
- Responsible for all email analytics ranging from email performance, year over year comparisons, and conversion analysis across all campaigns
- Manage the prospect database and constantly exploring new methods for list growth
- Ensure compliance with spam and privacy laws in various regions
- Experience running multivariate tests and regularly monitor performance, to optimize efforts accordingly
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related field
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills (headlines, etc)
- 3-5 years experience and knowledge of email platforms or CRM platform for email campaign building, segmentation, email send automation and email campaign management – Klayvio, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Infusionsoft, Getresponse, deliverability software, etc. Experience with Ometria is highly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience as a respected leader in email marketing, digital marketing, and/or multi-channel content creation
- Strong knowledge of Customer Journey and Customer Lifetime Cycle and how to best optimize those
- Experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics
- Experience with the segmentation of data and working experience with SQL Query
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Experience with creative software - Adobe Photoshop & Dream Weaver
- Email best practice (List Cleaning, Email Size, Timing, A/B testing, QA)
- Expertise in web analytics tools (Google Analytics)
- Project management skills to manage calendars, creative and data needs, and tight deadlines.
