DIRECTOR OF LEASING OPERATIONS

Summary
Director of Leasing is responsible to oversee leasing strategy and operations across it’s growing new and existing commercial and residential properties. This leadership position creates and implements standard operating procedures to optimize leasing performance across the portfolio which includes commercial, manufactured housing and, residential leasing. additionally, the incumbent will provides reporting and recommendations for the Asset Management team.

Essential Duties
• Identifying leasing tools, such as CRM, marketing automation, and demand generation
• Structuring the leasing process
• Defining on-site team structure and compensation
• Setting up on-site operations
• Optimizing listing syndication
• Hiring on-site teams
• Team training and ongoing management
• Managing co-broker outreach and compensation
• Reporting on asset and team performance
• Recommending pricing, marketing and strategy adjustments to Asset Management
• Responsible for managing, developing, and training the leasing team(s) to effectively lease all available units in the shortest amount of time to qualified lessees.
• This position will provide vetting and approvals for all negotiated contracts, leases, and vendor proposals.
• This position is responsible for the daily on-site operations of the leasing offices, including but not limited to, managing the inventory database, the master stacking plan and pricing grid, and overseeing and employees.
• The Director of Leasing will be responsible monitoring and advising on changing market conditions to identify all opportunities to make advantageous adjustments to pricing, inventory control/release, and overall strategy in a sales or leasing campaign to maximize the value of a project.
• Maintain awareness of local issues, community initiatives, and interest in the surrounding neighborhood, and act diligently to ensure positive relationships are formed.
• Manage the deliverables, expectations, budgets, and relationships with all outside agencies and third-party vendors included in our marketing efforts.

Experience Qualifications
• Minimum 5-10 years experience successfully managing high volume sales/ residential leasing teams
• Minimum 5-7 years supervision experience
• Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred

  •  Must be comfortable championing new ideas, identifying new opportunities and      managing multiple stakeholders
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing commercial, residential business
  • Possess great attention to detail, solid work ethic, and administrative organization
  • Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Yardi a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships
