Under direction of the Sales Director, the Sales Representative is responsible for managing the process of New Home Sales from initial contact with clients, to closing.
The Sales Representative influences the decision process and communicates value to home buyers through in-depth needs analysis and model home demonstrations. The person who fills this position must establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers, work through construction- related issues, and continually update customers on the progress of their homes.
Our Sales Representatives will promote and maintain a culture that values safety, health and cleanliness as well as represent our organization consistently with its target image.
Functions
Attract potential clients by studying the competition, staying current with industry
developments, building relationships, obtaining referrals, contact leads, etc.
Interact with current and prospective home buyers, quickly acknowledge customer’s
presence, identify and clarify buyer’s needs, maintain rapport with buyer by communicating
progress and addressing buyer’s concerns, follow up with customers after deliver to ensure
customer satisfaction
Complete the home contract by writing specifications, price changes, collect down payment,
follow up on loan application and required paperwork, complete home closing by fulfilling
requirements
Develop and execute contracts and accurately complete documents to include contract and
associated required documents, color selection forms, guest cards, etc.
Meet contract requirements by following up on adjustment and corrections, coordinate
information and requirements with builder, complete pre and post-construction inspections
with client

Required Education/Experience
Bachelors degree at accredited College or University
Three (3) years of Sales Experience, preferably in new home or existing real estate sales
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires operation of standard
office equipment such as phones, computers, copiers, fax machines, and use of filing cabinet
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be
expected
