Social Media Strategist

Reunion Marketing is a Raleigh, NC based digital marketing agency specializing in using data to pinpoint the most significant opportunities for growth for our clients. We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to develop and implement social media ads and strategies for our growing client base. This individual is hungry to learn, highly adaptable, and motivated to succeed.

Job duties and responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Communication with our account management team regarding client requests, industry news, etc
  • Create and manage paid Facebook advertisements
  • Define the most important social media KPIs to monitor audit client progress
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Research and report on competitors and industry leaders in the social media space
  • Coordinate client onboarding with the rest of the social team
  • Coordinate monthly co-op needs for clients 
  • Work with the sales team to provide audience targeting strategies for prospective clients
  • Lead testing and innovation projects
  • Use data to make decisions about account updates and optimizations

Job requirements and qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience as a Social Media & Paid Ads Specialist or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness, lead generation, and impressions
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook Business Manager 
  • Blueprint Certification preferred
  • Preferred experience with Google Analytics and Facebook Analytics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Self-starter. Willing and able to handle responsibilities with little direction and lots of initiative.
  • Good time-management skills
  • Excellent collaboration mindset and capabilities. Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent judgment with the ability to proactively problem-solve and make timely/sound decisions.
  • 2+ years experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role; public company experience a plus; start-up experience a plus
