The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5:30PM
Responsibilities include are but not limited to:
- Communicating the importance of physical therapy to our patients
- Answering incoming calls promptly and in a customer service friendly manner
- Encouraging patients to keep their appointments, limiting cancellations
- Scheduling appointments for new and returning patients
- Completing new patient registration
- Collecting applicable payments
- Working closely with patients to ensure they meet their prescribed course of treatment
- Managing the physical therapist’s schedules
- Following up with past patients
- Other general Medical Reception duties
Requirements:
- Must live within 30 minutes driving distance from the Great Neck office
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent customer service skills and a compassion for helping people
- Proficient with computers
- Team player attitude to coordinate with patients, therapists, and administrative staff
- Self-directed with organizing skills
- Can follow up and keep on task for patient scheduling/management
- Punctual and stable work schedule
- Medical reception experience is a plus
- Sales experience is preferred
Compensation:
- $16-$20/hr (based on experience)
