Why You Matter

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Representative. Your role will be to guide prospective customers through the sales process and close deals. You will be joining a Series A-funded startup with established product/market fit, a strong customer base, and exponential growth. Through your persistence, determination, and creativity, you will help accomplish Red Canary’s mission to make security better for businesses of all sizes.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Inside Sales Representative who: 

  • Has a minimum of 2 years closing experience in a complex consultative software sale, preferably security
  • Is eager for the opportunity to apply your experience, knowledge and passion to help our sales team and organization grow/scale
  • Has knowledge of the broad security program landscape; is able to develop expertise in the industry
  • Measures your success by the success of our customers
  • Takes ownership of results by consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Executes flawless Discovery; is able to evaluate customer needs and sell to solve problems not features
  • Expertly listens to and translates challenges and business opportunities to features of our software/service  or qualify out if they aren’t a fit 
  • Provides support to prospects during sales process; ensuring questions are answered and alignment is created between business challenge and solution
  • Adept at expanding the sales process beyond the initial contact to drive a consensus buy with other constituents
  • A polished communicator with comfort across all levels including Director, VP, and C-level roles; able to convey issues clearly, making points concisely 
  • Engaged in the customer’s journey beyond the close of the sale, ensuring a smooth transition for customers to the Customer Success team
  • Outgoing, competitive, and coachable
