Are you looking to join a dynamic startup environment with hyper-growth? If so we're looking to talk with you. We have big dreams for our product team, and we’re looking for someone extraordinary.
Who are you?
You find meaning in the abstract.
You have a strong understanding of statistics and analysis, and use these to answer core questions. You’re comfortable working with ambiguity, and high-level directions. You ask the right questions.
You can build anything.
Don’t have the right data? Data not in the right format? No problem. You can build your own pipeline, and get the information you need.
People ask you questions.
In every data team, there’s always someone that everyone else goes to with questions. You’re this person. You take pride in your deep understanding and are happy to help others.
You move fast.
You’ve never understood why other data analysts take so long to get answers. You feel that done is better than perfect and that it’s best to move quickly and iterate.
You value product, not just data.
You care about data analysis, but you also understand none of it matters if the product flops. You’ve gotten frustrated with team members who get too caught up in the details and lose sight of the bigger vision.
You’re here to make something great.
You want to change the world, and you understand that the best work doesn’t always happen between 9am-5pm. You’re willing to put in the hours to make something meaningful.
We will *not* be a good fit if:
You enjoy the structure and consistency of bigger companies. Politics and drama entertain you. You wouldn’t know how to build a new data pipeline from scratch. You aren’t comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. You’d rather work alone.
If you’re still reading… here’s the deal. We’re building out a world-class product team, hiring one person in each major discipline (mobile, web, server, design & data). You’ll be working closely with our existing product team which includes the creator of Boomerang, and the first designer from Oculus. You’ll be iterating on our current products but also building new products from scratch.
If all this sounds interesting to you, let’s talk!
