About the Role
As a Partner Development Manager, you will drive proactive partner development and enablement through a combination of direct efforts and alongside RainFocus Account Executives. In addition to collaborating externally, the Partner Account Manager will work closely with RainFocus Account Executives to introduce appropriate Partners that can offer skills and capabilities required by end customers as part of a larger solution. You will be the partner’s key point of contact at RainFocus interfacing with other relevant teams across both RainFocus and the partner organization.
*This role is remote but West Coast preferred*
Essential Responsibilities
Develop a separate and sustainable revenue stream for RainFocus Event Marketing Solutions through the recruitment, development and partnering with experiential agencies and technology partners.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience working at or with Experiential Marketing Agencies
- Event experience
- Solid understanding of event solutions or competitive offerings
- Proven experience in channel partnerships (SaaS background preferred)
- Experience building a partner Go-To-Market plan
- Demonstrated ability to train partner teams on a software solution.
- Demonstrates success scaling Partner engagement
- Demonstrated ability building executive relationships
- Identifying key stakeholders to build relationships and credibility within partner organizations, and help them realize the full potential of partnering with RainFocus
- Lead strategic partner marketing events and programs with marketing and other internal stakeholder
- Hands on software demo experience and comfort demonstrating software in small group settings
- Self starter and team player
- Fearless attitude to try new processes and iterate to scale
- Strong propensity to take initiative; thrive on change and ambiguity
- Experience establishing business development relationships and navigating the reality of “co-opert-ition”
- Travel 25% - 50% depending on business needs
