JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Solutions Architect who wants to challenge themselves and advance their career as an integral part of our team. This onsite position reports to the CEO and CTO while working in lockstep with our Sales Team, Delivery Managers and Technical Leads to bring our customer’s goals to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, years of experience across a broad range of technologies, have a great personality and be comfortable engaging with a variety of clients on a wide range of projects.


HATS YOU'RE EXPECTED TO WEAR:

  • Sales Strategist - Participate in the Sales and Pre-Sales Process to build estimates for proposals. Work directly with Partnership Managers to set initial scope, budget, and timeline expectations while launching projects. Work with Customer Product Owners to review and iterate on their needs.

  • Project Pathfinder - Participate in kickoff and discovery meetings with customer stakeholders to determine solution success criteria and articulate expert recommendations. In addition to clients and the Partnership team, you'll occasionally communicate with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and Technical Leads to answer questions, provide fit/gap analysis, and support the timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Comprehensive Cartographer - Clearly document and diagram success criteria and recommendations; Mapping out integrated systems, data models, process flows, business context, and user stories to contribute to the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Solutions Specifications.

  • Salesforce Savant - Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integrations, business process automation, and other custom functionality, while leveraging the disparate clouds in the Salesforce ecosystem (Heroku, Sales Cloud, Service, FSL, IoT, etc...).

CORE QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST MEET:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect applying best-fit Salesforce technologies to business critical challenges
  • History of work in software consulting
  • Extensive understanding of and familiarity with web and mobile development, design, and all related technologies, processes, and terminology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be comfortable with a travel schedule of up to 25%
  • Must be a US citizen or have valid Employment Visa, no sponsorships provided

AWESOME IF YOU ALSO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience developing with Node.js and Heroku
  • Working experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies 
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
  • Salesforce development experience and certifications
