The role of a Sr. Account Manager is to grow revenue and increase profits of the company by selling products and services. There are a lot of responsibilities that go into executing that role. Both external (clients) and internal (Qwinix).
Client facing responsibilities (External)
- Meet and build relationships with hiring managers, Directors, VP’s and C-Levels.
- Understand Qwinix’s service offerings and align the solution that best addresses the customer’s needs.
- Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs.
- Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls.
- Leveraging the relationships and success stories at existing client to generate continuous business.
- Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes and then documenting them.
- Meet and build relationships with our billable staff (employees/consultants) to generate intel.
- Find out what problems need solving, challenges, projects and staffing needs.
- Sell solutions, managed services or staffing depending on client needs.
- Qualify opportunities – get details on projects or requirements: technical stack, timing, rate, terms, business reason, location, interview process and other pertinent information.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Set up interviews and get feedback on interviews.
- Negotiate terms & conditions and bill rates.
- Close deals.
- Follow up with hiring managers on progress of placements.
- Head off any potential issues or red flags.
- Network with the IT community.
Qwinix responsibilities (Internal)
- Lead a daily standup – prioritize requirements, discuss candidates, requirements, blockers, set daily goals for delivery team in terms of submittals and things to accomplish for the day.
- Assist Delivery Team in sourcing and recruiting strategies.
- Mentor sales/recruiters through roleplaying and discussing live examples of candidates/requirements/hiring managers/clients etc., lead training sessions, teach senior level sales/recruiting concepts.
- Help screen potential candidates – add client/hiring manager information so the candidate gets “buy-in” and gets even more excited about the opportunity, help with negotiations and adds another level of screening to make sure they are qualified.
- Check in throughout the day on progress, work to remove blockers, provide updates.
- Document meetings, intel, requirements and opportunities into CRM.
- Provide information and answers to issues, problems and questions that come up from the support team (HR and Finance).
- Share sales numbers and account information to Executive Team.
- Participate in account planning and strategy sessions with Executive Team.
- Meet or exceed given sales goals, metrics and expectations.
