We currently have an opeining for a senior level finance position that reports directly to the President.
Proforma Development / Update – Working in concert with the Owner and development team to establish pro forma models for each prospective project or property considered for development. Creating and Maintaining development-underwriting models and update as new data is received, track, communicate and distribute changes to appropriate team members. Innovative, cutting edge assembly and management of financial data, using advanced financial planning software (Argus).
Real Estate Debt/Equity Waterfall Models – Working with financial software (Argus), developing cash flow structures to phase in real estate transactional models. Experience in complicated debt structures, securitized and collateralized debt instruments, syndicated loans, collateralized mortgage obligations, bond obligations, EB5 Financing, New Markets Tax Credit, Public/Private infrastructure match funds and Infrastructure Grant opportunities.
Facilitating Financial Communications – Communicate with owner, development team, equity partners, lenders and third parties as appropriate and needed, especially during the due diligence / pro forma phase of a project, for effective financial modeling. Document packaging for application to appropriate stakeholders for all equity and debt project transactions, to promote and represent Tutelian in the best financial position available based on the needs of the project.
Facilitating Underwriting Process – Facilitate meetings and discussions as necessary, to drive the underwriting process in concert with the research and due diligence in project execution to coordinate funding requirements in coordination with development process.
Other Analysis – Other ad hoc financial analysis and support as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or real estate. Masters Degree, CPA or CFA preferred.
- Five to ten years experience in analysis of residential/commercial real estate markets.
- Expert level ability in Argus real estate development proforma software.
- Demonstrated ability to identify key real estate market drivers, assess their impact on a given real estate market, and communicate related analysis and conclusions.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and decision making skills.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with MS OFFICE suite, expert in Excel.
