The Amazon Merchandising Specialist is a key member of the Buying Team. You will help to grow the Blucoil brand, Quantum’s private label brand, by researching and building bundles for our diverse range of brands. In collaboration with the Buying team, this individual will work to increase our presence across multiple eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Work closely with entire E-Commerce team to maximize sales and growth for our Blucoil Bundle business 
  • Set priorities and manage projects between the Brand Management, Purchasing, Brand Development, and Product Development teams
  • Communicate with Brand CEOs on product information
  • Research market competition, brand competition, and product competition to suggest bundles and make recommendations for accessories to manufacture
  • Work with Product Development to define detailed technical and non-technical specifications for the required products
  • Analyze costing, pricing, and margins and provide suggestions for pricing required
  • Set up SKUs and visual merchandising on Amazon storefront
  • Work with Brand Development and Marketing team to ensure appropriate Brand image and advertising
  • Manage and analyze stock levels, coordinate with Purchasing team to ensure consistent replenishment
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, and work cross-functionally to execute those improvements
  • Constantly monitor key metrics, inventory availability and product flows across multiple systems
  • Ensure that all products are displaying availability, attributes and pricing as expected

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with analytical coursework
  • Passion for tech products
  • 1-2+ years of professional experience or equivalent internship experience
  • Excited about building a career in eCommerce from the ground up, with growth opportunities in many directions, including Purchasing, Product Development, Buying/Brand Management
  • Passionate about rolling up their sleeves and learning through tactical execution
  • Extremely meticulous, uber-organized and detail-oriented in all aspects of their work
  • Persevering self-starter who displays a sense of urgency and is unwilling to take no for answer
  • Builds strong working relationships by collaborating closely with different functional areas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - speak and write clearly, simply and succinctly
  • Strong Excel skills and analytics. Ask yourself this: on a scale of 1-10, Bill Gates being a 10, where do you rank?
  • Energized by a dynamic, fast-paced work environment 
  • Familiarity and experience with Amazon is a plus
