Phone Operator

The Client

Our client, a leader in the Industrial Goods and Services sector, is looking for a Phone Operator to join their growing team in Malta.

Main Duties
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails
  • Assist after sales executive in quotes
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Identify and escalate issues to technical coordinator
  • Provide product and service information to customers
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Research, identify, and resolve customer complaints using applicable software
  • Route calls to appropriate resources
  • Input all call information on the required system
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary
  • Upsell products and services
  • Complete call logs and reports
  • Taking care of on call roster and follow up call agent reports
  • Help maintain information to ensure service calls are completed and billed accurately
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees
  • File and scan documents where required

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a call centre environment
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to handle the stressful situation appropriately
