Push Pedal Pull (P3) is currently seeking an outgoing, organized and experienced individual to join our FUN TEAM in an EXCITING INDUSTRY as a Field Service Technician.
This individual must also be a self-starter, as the position allows you to make your own schedule while working in the field opposed, to an office. A Field Service Technician is responsible for the following: repair and maintenance work on fitness equipment in the market area, develops and maintains Preventive Maintenance Agreements (PMA), assists in deliveries of product sold by Push Pedal Pull in the market area and promotes the sale of Push Pedal Pull product lines in the market area.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Schedules service repair work to be completed in a timely manner.
2.Develops a customer base by regularly calling and following up on potential customers to include health clubs, YMCAs, community fitness centers, hospitals, wellness centers, nursing homes, high schools, colleges, hotels, motels, major businesses, government entities, etc.
3.Services and repairs fitness products to include treadmills, ellipticals, climbers, stationary bikes, weight machines, etc.
4.Prepares and submits weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the Corporate office on a timely basis.
5.Maintains corporate vehicle and tools through periodic inspection and service. Keeps same clean and organized at all times. Does not smoke in or around van.
6.Monitors an inventory of parts and supplies and orders same on a timely basis.
7.Maintains a technical proficiency level with old and new machines through training, reading manuals, networking with other P3 techs and manufacturing reps.
8.Creates and maintains optimal rapport with customer base.
9.Assists in set-up and delivery of product to customers in the Market area.
10.Regularly communicates with Corporate office staff on issues of mutual interest.
11.Refers potential customer leads to P3 Commercial Sales Representative.
12.Returns all phone calls from customers promptly -- within 24 hours.
13.Collects payment from retail customers (commercial customers are usually billed) via check or credit card # only at time of service and submits same to Corporate on a weekly basis.
14.Processes warranty claim forms and packages and returns parts to vendors as required.
EDUCATION: H.S. graduation or equivalent is required. Graduation from technical trade school or program is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of related service repair work is necessary. Clean driving record, drug screen and background check is required.

4.Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, corporate staff and manufacturers
5. Ability to remain professional in terms of dress and interaction at all times while an agent of P3.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
Incumbent will office out of the store and company service van provided. The trade area will involve a fair amount of driving. Occasional evening and/or weekend work is required. Bending, lifting, squatting necessary to delivery, set-up and repair fitness equipment in all types of gym-like environments is necessary.
